This product can be used both as a pre-workout as well as just an energy aid throughout the day as necessary. To use pre-workout, take one scoop about 20 minutes prior to training. This is my third day in - I've been having the pineapple mango flavour first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Gives me energy that lasts throughout the whole day. I was a regular of having my cappuccino coffee fix in the morning and medium iced latte in the afternoon, but since being on Showtime I no longer need my coffee fix. I also no longer crave the need to have a fizzy drink for a midday pick me up. Loads more energy and helping me drink more water. Only been using it for 2 weeks. Definitely noticed an increase in energy during my workout but it definitely makes me nauseated if I drink it on an empty stomach. I try to just sip throughout my workout rather than drinking it entirely prior to working out. I think I'm going to try one without caffeine as I think it's the caffeine making me nauseated.
